The Ark of Lilburn

A man builds a Yacht inside of his Steel Mill in a landlocked town in Georgia. And yes, it's a true story that gets crazier than you'd expect. A documentary scored like a Spaghetti Western. Half Dirty Guitar, half 70 Piece Orchestra, and everything in between to fill in the gaps.

The Chalice

A Surreal Horror Film. I handled Sound Design duties as well as the Original Score.

Once a Hero

A short film about a Sad Superhero. This one won me some of my first awards outside of the 48 Hour Film Project

Red Hood

A short love letter to Samurai films. Nick DeKay and I share a love of genre films, and I'm always excited to see what he has in store for me on every project. Hints of Ifukube, Hayasaka and Hishashi in the Score.

Of Creature and Man

Another 48 Hour Film I did with Andrew Kadikian which ended up doing well at festivals after the fact. A short horror movie that allowed me to blend 80s Carpenter-esque Horror with Film Noir touches.

The Answers

A lovely little Slice of Life. It allowed me to adapt my usual style into a more intimate setting, blending my favorite string voicings with Dulcimer, Guitar and Piano.

Possibilities

An underwater dance piece that I got to compose the music before picture, which rarely happens for film (but happens all the time in Theater). This allowed me to stay squarely in the Orchestral Realm with a little help from my synthesizers.

The Chase

Western inspired horse chase that turns into a brawl with two wild women at the helm. Written by, Directed by and Co-Starring my wife Jessica Erin Bennett. It's nice to have a guaranteed gig every so often.
